Elgo Estate 2004 Shiraz makes the nation’s best reds list in The Weekend Australian November 11-12, 2006.

James Halliday Top 100 Wines – Elgo Estate Shiraz 2004, 95 points.

This wine is made from grapes grown on the warmest of the three discrete vineyards on the 389ha grazing property of the Taresch family. Deep, bright purple-red, it has rich, fragrant blackberry and spice aromas, the palate absolutely flooded with layers of juicy black fruits and ripe tannins guaranteeing a very long life.
